The IMPACT CUP

The Impact Cup results are being calculated as I write (yes, talented). It was the most intense, competitive (NOT!) We all had a blast. May of us had trouble keeping the ball on the green. There are 3 travel trophies to be awarded for (showboat award = "a good showoff", No Green = can't keep the ball on the Green, and a Whatever trophy = I just forgot the purpose for this award).

They will be awarded soon, but the best award is hanging out as followers of Jesus Christ. We had a great time of fellowship, and ended the night at the MALL (only 15% of the time was allotted for shopping....ahum...girls! lol).

Rain Rain...I need my GREAT ESCAPE fix!

Yes, I think rain stink especially when the Great Escape is planned. Boo on Rain, but we all had a great time hanging out and playing the best PowerPoint games

The night also had some time for everyone to think about another great escape and where they escape and how it is mostly self-centered to runaway from the truth. We talk about the GREAT Escape of Alcatraz Prison in the 1950's. So interesting, was anyone board? It good to ask questions. God has called us to run to him, at all times good and bad, and not venture the other direction.

In Matthew 11:28 Jesus says, " Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Why not run to Jesus, rather runaway in circles away from Him?

We all ended the night with My beautiful wife Meghan who brought ZA (= Pizza) for us to enjoy. She also brought our new edition to our family "Shasta" (below).

Creation Update - Ice Cream

Lots of music, food, fun and friend were had at Creation Fest, the largest christian music festival in the county (75,000 of your closest peeps).

Alex mentioned that she would change having a RV to upscale the basic camping experience at Creation!

Last night we also played some Totally Trivia! Questions that dealt with very important stuff such as "most piercing on a women" or "smallest man" (no it's not Adam...lol). This guy at the top, has the record for most clothes pins on his face at one time...yes say ouch!

We topped off the night with Ice Cream at the Caboose (great dipping Ashley B).
